I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to join our Field and Natural History faculty and students for a week-long trip to Wyoming this winter. Principia has partnered with the Teton Science School for over 20 years to bring students to the mountains for a place-based study of mountain ecology and snow science while also taking time to practice creative writing and nature journaling. This experience was a dream come true for me. Skiing and snow shoeing each day with an expansive view of the Tetons, spotting moose grazing just outside our classroom window, taking time to really look, listen, and ponder our place in the family of all things was such a gift.
